How the calculations work
The Pythagorean system assigns letter values from 1 to 9: A, J, and S equal 1; B, K, and T equal 2; the sequence continues through I and R, which equal 9. NumberAIO normalizes accents and supported Latin characters to keep the calculation consistent.
Your Life Path comes from your birth date. Expression uses every letter of your birth name, Soul Urge uses the vowels, and Personality uses the consonants. Master numbers are retained only where the selected rules allow them. You can check the sums and reductions in the report.

How the calculator works
This calculator brings your birth name and birth date into one chart. Your birth date provides the Life Path Number and timing cycles, while the letters of your birth name are used to calculate your Expression, Soul Urge, and Personality Numbers. The report also explores your Birthday Number, Attitude Number, Maturity Number, Pinnacles, Challenges, and personal cycles.
NumberAIO follows a documented, component-based approach to Pythagorean numerology. It calculates parts of your name separately before combining them, handles the letter Y according to its context, and preserves master numbers only in positions where the chosen rules allow them. The calculation breakdown is visible, so you can examine the arithmetic rather than taking an interpretation on trust.
Your Life Path Number is calculated from the day, month, and year of your birth. The Birthday Number and Attitude Number also come from your date, but they use different inputs and describe different positions in the chart.
The Expression Number uses the letters in your complete birth name. Soul Urge uses the vowels, while Personality uses the consonants. The same name can therefore produce three distinct results without any contradiction.
Pinnacles and Challenges describe extended stages in the chart. Personal Year, Personal Month, and Personal Day are calculated for the date being examined. These timing numbers change; the main birth-chart numbers do not.
